Presses and crushers for apples are used not only for juice extraction and winemaking. The equipment is also applied in breweries, cosmetics and chemical industries, in restaurants and bars, in research centers and universities, in farms, on apiaries, and in the production of apple vinegar, kombucha, and other beverages.

The areas of application of our equipment described in this section are just a few examples.

WINEMAKING AND DISTILLATION

L’Atelier De Fermentation (France)

A mini-brewery in southern France (Cevennes), opened by an Englishman for educational purposes.

L'Âne Brasseur(France)

A craft mini-brewery. After prolonged maceration of fruits, the beer is drained, but there is still a lot of liquid left in them. Therefore, a hydraulic press is used to extract the maximum amount of liquid from the fruits.

SIA Ābolis (Latvia)

Producer of apple juice with chili pepper, ginger, black currant twigs, and spicy aromas. "SIA Ābolis" also produces apple vinegar, ginger apple juice sauce, cider, apple distillate, birch and maple sap with lemon and ginger.

In the gardens of "IEVGRAVAS" they grow quince and engage in beekeeping. The press and crusher are used to extract juice from quince and berries and subsequently make syrups.

Joseph Reitzer (France)
At the request of a client who produces cider, an apple crusher ESE-055 with a 3-phase motor was manufactured.
The client designed and built a special elevator for the crusher, allowing apples to be fed into the crusher's hopper, and after crushing, the crushed mass goes directly into the press basket.

Linderhof (Russia)

Linderhof is a Bavarian cuisine beer restaurant located in Moscow. Chef Ilya Romanov uses the press to prepare various drinks and wines.
The stainless steel piston is used as a weight when preparing fermented red cabbage.

Maison Caillet (France)

Maison Caillet is a Michelin-starred restaurant and hotel in Valmont (Normandy). Chef Pierre Caillet uses an apple crusher in his restaurant to prepare natural juices from apples and pears.

EDUCATION AND SCIENCE

INRAE (France)

Researchers at INRAE use an apple crusher and press in a fully anaerobic chamber to obtain apple juice for cider that is not exposed to oxidation. This juice is then used in a controlled oxidation reactor to study the oxidation reactions of polyphenols.
