Pack presses for juice are professional equipment for efficient juice extraction from crushed fruits, berries, and vegetables using the pack pressing method. Crushed fruits, berries, or vegetables are placed into special bags or wrapped in durable filter cloth. Each such pack-napkin is layered with drainage grids that ensure the free outflow of juice. The packs assembled into a stack are compressed from above by a pressing plate, after which the juice flows out between the grids and is collected in a tray.
In screw pack presses, a screw with trapezoidal thread is used to compress the crushed raw material. Hydraulic versions of pack presses operate using a jack or hydraulic cylinder, which makes it possible to achieve higher pressure with less effort.
To increase productivity, there are models with a rotating platform for two packs. While one pack is under pressure, the operator prepares the next one. This makes it possible to work almost continuously and significantly speeds up the process compared to single-pack presses.
