Pneumatic fruit presses / wine presses

The design of a pneumatic juice press is based on an elastic membrane or air cushion that expands when air is supplied and gently compresses the fruit mass. Thanks to this, the pressure is distributed evenly, making it possible to obtain more juice with minimal sediment content and without excessive damage to the skins and pits. A pneumatic press is used for extracting juice from apples, grapes, berries, as well as other fruits and vegetables.

Vertical membrane press models are suitable for universal use and are easy to operate.

Horizontal membrane presses are used in more professional applications, especially in winemaking, where the most delicate and controlled pressing process is important. Closed pneumatic presses make it possible to minimize contact with air and reduce juice oxidation. In such models, juice can be obtained in stages: first a light “free-run” juice, then richer fractions, without mixing them together.
