The apple crusher is driven by the rotation of a large flywheel. The massive flywheel provides inertia, which lightens and evens out the required force. For smooth and comfortable operation, the apple crusher should be placed on a stable support, for example, between two chairs or a table, and a container for collecting the crushed apple pulp should be placed under it.

It is recommended that two people work with a mechanical apple crusher - one cranks and the other pours the apples into the funnel. In this way, it is possible to crush up to 300 kg of apples per hour. A manual apple crusher is well suited for a small apple orchard or for those who press apple juice several times during the season, but in small quantities at a time.

A mechanical apple crusher crushes apples relatively coarsely compared to electric crushers, and the juice yield is somewhat less. It is very suitable for crushing softer summer apples.
