This spout is designed for use with bags and buckets. It is 100% stainless steel and should last indefinitely.
This spout is popular with small producers. Buckets and bag holders are hung over the washer. The unique nozzle shape of the spout prevents the sap from running back to the washer. This tap will hold the full bag weight without sagging, and it is virtually unbreakable. A slight twist with a pliers removes the spout from the tree at the end of the season. They can be boiled and sterilized year after year.
