A manual apple crusher is well suited for a small apple orchard or for those who press apple juice several times during the season, but in small quantities at a time.

A mechanical apple crusher crushes apples relatively coarsely compared to electric crushers, and the juice yield is somewhat less. It is very suitable for crushing softer summer apples.
